AUTOMATED CUT-TO-LENGTH
AND MEASURING SYSTEM

The CTL Series is designed to automatically pull, measure and cut small gauge flexible material such as insulated wire, aircraft cable, plastic, rubber hose, twine, rope, etc. The puller consists of a fractional horsepower gear motor that is controlled by a 120 V SCR Variable Speed Drive. The counter is an electronic predetermining stop-to-length unit with slow-down and prescaling for in-field calibration. Read-out configurations are available in feet, inches, and metric. Hydraulic, air, abrasive, and other cutting devices are available to suit your requirements.

Also available is a Hot-Knife Cutter for rope and cordage operations which allows cutting and automatic whipping (searing) of material ends. A batch counter stops the unit once the desired quantity of pieces is reached. A standard unit will pull from a 200 pound reel. A motorized Pay-out is recommended for heavier reels (See page 41). Consult factory for specifications and pricing. The Cut-To-Length Series includes a heavy duty stand with telescoping height adjustment. Max speed 90 FPM. Knurled or urethane drive wheels are provided.
